A passphrase-encrypted backup, or a redacted packet for your representative with name, SSN and file number blacked out. You read it first.

Does the app tell me what to claim or which review to file?
No. It shows what the letter says, which date the clock runs from, and what to ask a representative. Accredited VSO representatives help at no charge, and the app helps you find one.
Does it work with a paper letter?
Yes. Photograph each page and the phone reads them. PDFs from VA.gov read best.
What if the app is not sure about a date?
It shows you both printed dates with the sentence they came from and asks you to confirm before any deadline is shown or any reminder is set.
